Hypertension

Hypertension is a very common disease. In Italy around 21% of men and 24% of women have hypertension (high blood pressure) High blood pressure is the consequence of excessive stress on the arterial wall which, in time can damage the endothelium. Increased pressure can be caused by certain underlying diseases such as hyperaldosteronism, Cushing’s syndrome or pheochromocytoma. However, more than 90% of cases of hypertension are defined as essential, which means the origin is unknown.

The central problem of hypertension is associated with damage to the endothelium, the internal layer of arteries. When the endothelium is damaged it creates thickening of the artery and triggers a process for repairing the damage with accumulation of LDL (lipoprotein) and triglycerides which form arteriosclerotic plaque.

Hypertension and endothelial dysfunction are therefore strictly associated with and lead to hardening of the arteries, which can no longer contract and dilate.

Why Zentrum

Zentrum, as a biological precursor of Nitric Oxide, corrects the vascular function of the body, promoting effective pressure reduction. The use of the supplement, along with a correct diet, can lead to a reduction of systolic and diastolic pressure at the end of the treatment. Before undergoing treatment it is always appropriate to consult a specialist, so that together you can decide on the timescales and methods.

Contraindications

The use of arginine is contraindicated for persons who frequently experience outbreaks of herpes virus. The L-arginine amino acid can reactivate episodes of that strain of virus.
